Software Programs - From arguments to Parameters

In the future the Software Engineering books could just refer the following standard syntax

public static void main (args[])

{

} 

As

public static void main (parametets[])

{

} 

As

public static void main (params[])

{

} 

Similarly, all functions or methods would be accepting parameters or inputs / output or inputvalues and returnvalues... 

Hope such change is accepted as standard form.
