Future Changes I would like to See in the Game of Cricket - IPL, T20, ODI and Tests

IPL, T20, ODI and Tests


I would like to give feedback on how we can ensure that each Player in the Squad gets to play equal number of matches to ensure more participation of talent, to encourage healthy competition among the players and also helps to balance the workload within a given tour.  For (e.g) Let's there are 16 member's in a squad on an international test tour of 5 matches we can ensure each player gets to play at least 3 matches this ensures that all of 16 members' gain experience and are ready to play inter-national competitive cricket.  This can be achieved by taking up this matter with the ICC and make it a mandatory rule to ensure that both the teams provide equal opportunity for every member in the squad and gets to play almost equal number of games.  Similar rules can be adopted for ODIs and T20s as well to ensure that every player in the squad gets a good amount of cricket in a tournament.  For (e.g) When a Squad or team wins lets' say World Cup tournament by playing just 11 or 12 members in the squad all team members enjoy the victory and cherish the moment.  However, the contribution factor from the rest of squad members would not be felt as each member would feel great when there was a moment in the tournament where they had contributed towards the teams journey in lifting the Tournament Titles.  If we encourage and ensure every member in the squad plays equal numbers or matches when the number of matches / no of players yields a whole number like (48/16 = 3 matches) and in case the calculation doesn't yield a whole number like (40 / 15 = 2.67)  each player gets to play at least two matches and remaining 8 matches the team management can play player as they feel appropriate. 


Similarly, rules can be passed within the BCCI and can be tried out in the National Tournaments, National Leagues, State Leagues etc.  The  feedback from the players and coaching staff can be taken as input and presented to the ICC governing council for adoption of such a rule or policy to give a fair amount of chances for each member of the squad.

If for some reason we don't like the above idea for (e.g) the Wicket keepers role might be challenged because he couldn't be rotated.  Then the squad can include an additional wicket keeper batsman.

Then, I suggest let's take this approach,

The Team players are classified as Batsman, WicketKeeper, Bowlers and Bowling All Rounders.

We know that the team selected for any International matches usually is composed of 14 players, 

The Breakup in current scenario is Batsman, WicketKeeper, Captain, All Rounders and Bowlers.

Rule 1.
I would suggest that all 14 Players should be allowed to play the match in a tournament.  
Rule 2.
The team composition should clearly list players classified as "BATSMAN", "CAPTAIN" IS A ROLE OF LEADERSHIP SKILL AND NOT CLASSIFIED BASED ON CRICKETING SKILLS, "WICKETKEEPER", "BOWLER", "BOWLING-ALL-ROUNDERS" and "BOWLING-ALL-ROUNDERS".
Rule3. 
The team composition shall be equally distributed between "BATSMAN" AND "BOWLERS", excluding wicket keeper, a bowling all rounder would be basically considered as a "BOWLER" 
Rule 4.
In a squad of 14 members the distribution would be 7 Batsman, 1 wicket keeper and 6 Bowlers.
Rule 5.
All team members in the squad would be allowed to play all matches in the tournament.  That would mean instead 10 wickets the match or innings would come to an end when 13 wickets are taken by the opposition team.
Rule 6.
The Team Playing order with respect to Batting and Bowling have to be mentioned. The Bowlers and Bowling All rounders would be given more priority, weightage, to complete their quota of overs.  
Rule 7.
The Squad members identified as Bowlers have to share the responsibilities to complete maximum allocated quotas of overs in the match.  For (e.g) in a 50 over match 2 of the "BOWLERS" would have to mandatorily bowl 9 overs, the other bowlers 4 of them could bowl 8 overs each including the bowling all rounders.  In case of Batting all rounders they would be allowed to bowl only 50% of a bowlers quota in this case only 4 overs max per "BATSMAN ALL ROUNDER".  That would mean the "Bowlers" or "Bowling all rounders" have to bowl the remaining 4 overs mandatorily.  The exception is only allowed due to an injury to a bowler during the match and the umpires accordingly allow the changes.
Rule 8.
The Squad request for replacement of stand by players from their country to fly just on time and be match ready as needed in case of any injury during the tournament to a player.
Rule 9.
Only 11 Players would be allowed in the field while the team is bowling, whereas all of them are available in the squad to bat or bowl as needed by the team captain during the innings.

The idea behind the above suggestion is basically borrowed from FootBall and Hockey where the substitutes also play the game or almost the full squad plays the game based on their skill classification.


IN case of IPL I suggest that the following strategy is adopted,

1. Home State Players - 8 members, 4 members picked for match
2. International Players - members, 4 members in picked for match
3. Non-Home State Players - members, 3 members picked for match

For (e.g) in case of CSK, the home state players would mean TamilNadu, Non-Home Players would mean States of India other than TamilNadu

International players would mean the player of the internationals team as approved by the IPL Governing council.

And when the above classification and making all 14 players to play IPL matches would make it more fun?

The team selection during auction shall ensure that 1 wicket keeper is picked from HSP, IP, NHSP mandatorily. There is no restriction on picking batsman, bowlers, or all rounders otherwise. 

The CSK Squad for a given match example would then comprise of 5 HSP, 5 IP, 4 NHSP making playing 14 for that match.  

The above rules listed then could just fundamentally be the same for IPL matches as well. 

The team selection or auction capital Budget would be fixed at a price say $50 million, then each category of players would be selected by a ratio of 2:2:1 or $20 million to HMP category, $20 million to IP category and $10 million to Non Home state Player.  The balance in any one of this category can be used in another category with an upper limit of 5-10% of the overall budget.

The CSK representative would just buy Home State players  at a price of their choice.

The Number of Teams in IPL could be increased to 12 to 24 .  In case of 12 teams the same present scheduling pattern of IPL can be adopted. In case of 24 teams, 4 pools of 6 teams playing tournaments as listed below,

Play-off stage - All 24 teams play every year with no consideration of their ranking last year.
Play -Off stage
Each team in pool play each other twice once in home stadium and in away stadium,
League stage - top two teams from each pool qualify and makes it 8 teams who then continue the tournament in the present format of home and away league.
The Championship stage would involve the top 4 teams from League stage competing for the Trophy.

Hope the above suggestions bring a flavour, pride as each team now mandatorily has to include Home state players in the Auction and in the playing 14.

Hope BCCI and ICC positively consider the above request at the earliest and bring the change before the next auction cycle.

What is this?


In compilers or computer science there is a concept called Just in time compilation that means load the library or interpret or compile the code only when needed based on the context of the application flow. 


Similarly, the Search engine or social media platform or our subscriptions to dth services would they be able to use our data from Hospital, driving state or Work related stress or pressure and would be able to personalize through their alexa or google voice and interact with us to bring or calm us down and refer us to audibles, videos, songs, knowledge points, wisdom, helps and guides to real people who have similar experience in the recent past.  And this could then be a pointer for the person who is disturbed or categorized as Psychiatric could seek solace or help and come out of it.  The materials could be reference religious texts, masters voices, versus-es from religious materials, knowledge points, wisdom, motivational videos and so on. Or It could a real reference people to who have come out of a particular disease or complication and so on... This could also be feature in Facebook or any of the social media platform. 


Hope such feature is a reality in the future provided by either our phone provider or search engines notification apps on our phone or by our devices, their services in the background or by our social media applications.

Third language in TN

The Tamilnadu Government should plan for third language and that should cover Indian, Foreign Languages.

The Schools of in the western districts of TN bordering Kerala shall learn Malayalam as third language, districts bordering Karnataka shall learn Kannada as third language, districts bordering Andhra shall learn Telugu as third languages all other districts can choose to learn any of the Indian language or foreign language, as fourth language they can learn German, French, Mandarin, Japanese and so on.  In addition the delta districts of TN shall learn Kannada as third language, the Palar basin Kannada, Telugu, Vaigai Basin Malayalam and so on.. Hopefully, this might come handy for the people of this state.

Hope TN plans this well after a detailed discussion with all stakeholders.

Dams in Azharkovil and Tiruppathur - #TNGOVT

Dam in Azharkovil and Thiruppathur for Drinking Water needs of the surrounding Villages and Towns.


It's time for the TamilNadu Government to Plan for construction of dam(s) for  Drinking, irrigation needs of the surrounding villages in the surroundings of Azharkovil / PazhammudhirCholai and Thriuppathur Reserve Forests on the mountains or at the valley.?


The DAM (as many as possible - instead of one big dam, construct as many dams to ensure large population around the reserved forest benefits) could be constructed in such a way that it is completely automated , operational using Software, Hardware, Electro-Mechanical Platform.  The DAM Crest gates (or leave the bottom open for free flow of minimum quantity of water) could also be planned to be installed at the bottom of the DAM.  This would ensure a minimum amount of water always flowing out of the DAM for Irrigation needs in the near by surrounding.  The surplus waters can be used for drinking and irrigation to a larger area beyond the near by surroundings.  

Hopefully, TN Government would initiate a Feasibility study of constructions DAMs in those Reserved forest for providing drinking water, replenishing the near by Lakes,  and to provide irrigation waters through the canals in the near by villages.  This strategy can be extended to other hilly areas where potentially new dams could be constructed covering the entire TN.

Political Parties Donation

Is it time for us every body to contribute annually a certain amount as per our capability to the Political Parties Of the state(S) and to the National Parties as well?

This would mean every earning member from TN shall donate using GPay or any UPI payment app to AIADMK, DMK, NTK, PT, PMK, DMDK, AICP, SP, TMC, NCP, BJP... let's say Rs. 100 each to these Parties annually. 

Hopefully, this would bring a change in the way the Societies contribution to political parties and their accountability, Transparency, loyalty, truthfulness, their value to their people whom they claim to represent. 

TIME FOR GOOD POLITICS WITH FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

Can the political parties publish their UPI ID or Ids? 

PAN (should be renamed in my point of view) card - #SmartTIN, #SmartTAN, #SmartTDAN, #SmartTSN

The Tax card have to be swiped for all banking, financial transactions mandatorily in case of direct usage or counter usage..  This ensure that there are no human errors involved in a transaction that requires Tax Account number.  In case of online transactions the Tax account number shall be used for every such transaction either through card swiper machine or interface in their laptop or as NFC authentication or through a e authentication workflow that issues a OTP.  

This ensures that all financial transactions by us are completely legal, Tax Or Tax law complaint, audit Transparency is achieved and helps in curbing bribe or corruption.

Hopefully, such measures are introduced, Mandated and becomes a normally accepted financial transactional practice. 

For example the banking rule by RBI to provide Tax account Number when the transaction value is greater than 50,000 could be easily tracked by swipe or SmartTINCard, or and OTP authenticated, or and biometric authentication shall ensure that value of money is not degraded through illegal practices.

Vehicle (Two Wheelers, CARS, Buses) - Transit or Road usage charges - #JustDrive, #NoStop or #NonStopDriveway, #NoTollBooths

 Vehicle (Two Wheelers, CARS, Buses) - Transit or Road usage charges


The Vehicles that we use lie Bikes, Scooties, Autos, Cars, Buses, Trucks and other vehicles would be exactly charge for Road Usage for the KMs covered.  


This would mean they would be equipped with Maps like Google Maps, SIM Slots with 4G or 5G that enables to trace or track the distance traveled on a daily basis, from time to time, the administrative boundaries crossed like Village Panchayat, Taluk, Town, City, District, State, International Borders and so on.  The SIM Slot would just work in tandem with the existing mobile connection number of the owner.  This would mean it is extension SIM exclusive for DATA Access only and the VOIP would enable to reach dial someone in need during emergency.


The Map Service provider would exactly determine the charges from to time to time on monthly basis, or prepaid usage or on annual basis.  This could be integrated the Google Financials App to indicate the amounts spent on the usage or vehicles such as toll or transit charges.  This would mean the end user or the driver pays as you use payment approach. The respective Governments concerned would get revenues on daily basis on all vehicles that transact or move with in their administrative boundary.  This would mean a two wheeler or any vehicle would nominal charges like 0.1 Paise per KM of usage in 20 feet road, 0.125 paise per km in 30 feet road, 0.150 paise per km in 40 feet road, 0.175 paise per km in 50 feet road and so on.. The charges could vary based on the Kind of Vehicles how much road tension or pressure they exert on the road during usage based on the weight could also determine the charges or rates.  However, this is a simple idea similar the Toll Charges based on number of lanes of mine.  The Administrative Governing Organization or Government would determine the price and accordingly the user would pay.  The MapProvider would generate a bill of material invoice for the Road users based on their account mapped with SIM CARD, Vehicle Identification details, Individual identification details like aadhaar.  They would also automically and instantly upload the concerned or relevant Taxes to the administrative units like Village Panchayat, Town, city, district, state, countries covered by the user of the Vehicles.  This could also bring lane disciple by charging for the lanes used in a highway, single lane used base charges, two lanes used base charges*2, 3 lanes used base charges*3 and so on...


This ensure revenue as well as accounting and proper maintenance of all road network. 

This Solution would ensure every vehicle pays as they use or drive irrespective of ambulance or military except in a combat situation.

FarmerBot - A Farmer Friendly Robot that handles almost what a Farmer Does on the Fields , 12*7*365 days

A FarmerBot is a domain Specific Robot that is visioned to replace a Farmer on the Farm Field and at home.  This FarmerBot could be a humanoid or could be a optimally designed to suit the target usage.


Vision

The FarmerBot is expected to handle a Farmer on the Farm Field.  They could work individually or work together as Master-Slave Software Architectural Pattern or as Leader-Follower Software Architectural Pattern by adopting these patterns principles.  


Use Cases or Challenges a FramerBot would face or solves for the Farmer


1. Study the Field on periodic basis (Soil Health, Air Health, Weather Patterns and it's Impact)

2. Weed Plucking, Planting or sowing seeds, harvesting

3. Sorting, Grading, Packing

4. Load(Sucker)-Grind-Blow

5. Load Grains, Grind or Extract Seeds or nuts or cereals or grains, blow the shell or hay or skins into tiny pieces.

6. Milk cows, Feed Cows, Prepare Water for Cows, Prepare panchaviyam, Bath the cows...

7.  Farmer owner FarmerBot or Leased by Farmers to handle their Farm work.

8.  FarmLandscape map, 

9.  Plan for Harvest and inform the buyer well in advance.

10. The FarmerBot completely and Scientifically studies each crop, Soil type, Soil Health, Water Source Health, TDS, Salinity, Acidity and so on..

16. Bio Mass manufacturing, Vermicompost units and the outputs from the Farm Harvests or automatically sent as grain to lifestocks or to vermicompost units.

17. FarmerBot would be a Single Machine handling most of the functions of a Farmer on a day to day basis,

18.  FarmerBot would be equipped with enough tools like SwissKnife on board or would be designed modular to load and operate any tools as required on the Farm field based on their capabilities.

20.  The FarmerBot would periodically communicate with the owner in their local language or in English informing them of the Harvest Progress.  The only input a farmer might give to FarmerBot would be that FieldA plan for Rice Cultivation this season.  The FarmerBot then validates the weather, season of the year, the soil condition and says, YES Sir, or I am Sorry that's not a good decision based on my Fed intelligence.

21.  The FarmerBot could handle FishFarms, Agriculture, Permaculture, Aqcuaculture, Zero Waste Agriculture, reducing input costs, optimizing output value and profits for the farmer.

22.  The FarmerBot would be able to inform the owner of the overall yield, cost involved, the revenues, the profit, interfacing with the FarmerBotCloudSpace(FBCS) Platform.

23.  The FarmerBot would be able to shrink itshelf to rest in the night in a water proof room or shed where it recharges for the next days work.

24.  The FarmerBot gives a report of activities completed on a daily basis.

25.  The FarmerBot appraises the list of activities at the start of the day.

26.  The FarmerBot would be able clean themselves, quarantine themselves with each others help, they can request for Service using the FBCS Platform. 

25. The farmerbot understands the weather in that particular surrounding around 1sq.km, soil type, and suggests the Farmer's the kind of plants or grains that is best suited for that calendar year, by season, year after year ensures crops are cycled for best benefits.

Ordering Systems Should include Gift invoices

The Ordering and Invoice Systems or Software's should mandatorily include Gift invoice or order workflows in ் their Software platform.  The Software Platforms could be Online, Offline, Payment Gateways or Payment apps, in store invoice so on.  The Gift invoice shall include the Make, Model, QR code of the product, Identication QR code of the purchaser and the Identification Code of the receiver of the gift.  The Identification QR codes shall include complete name, Tax Identity Number, Individual Identity Number like aadhaar and Mobile number in case of individual, in case of product, the products make, Model, Serial Number, manufacturing unit location information. The Gifts or Products in possession can be validated with these QR codes, with family lineage information obtained from Individual Identity number like aadhaar to validate, verify the possession of the product's, the inheritance of the same. This would come in handy when expensive metals like golds and it's right possession is under question?

What if the whole invoice is a single QR code on the cloud, a original to the customer, a copy in the vendors cloud, a copy to the Respective Governmental Cloud Repository?

A Scientific Approach to AOL Program - Happiness Program, Advanced Meditation Program, Sahaj Samadhi and So on...


I have attended the following AOL (art of living programs) namely, 

1. Happiness Program
2. Advance Meditation Program or Silence Program
3. DSN
4. Shahaj Samadhi Programs

A Brief about Art of Living is that it's a Spiritual Organization run by Sri Sri RaviShankar avargal.  The courses are organized, structured, taught, a nominal price is charged, administered by ArtOfLiving Organization and their members, volunteers, teachers, shishya's.

I already have given my feedback on my experience of the course and how I felt about it after the first iteration of the above courses.

Now, in my View and in today's Scientific world Spirituality and their courses, their impacts are not well documented in terms of sampling, data collection, scientifically, based on datas on specific parameters improved by each of these courses, a thesis, a data repository that establishes or proofs their benefits.  However, I don't dispute the value addition or the impact of these courses positively in me.

Now, why do I say it has be Scientifically proven?  Our masters have been using the approach of Master-Shishya principle, teaching, experienced based learning and their stories as a medium of impact to others or to bring them to these courses, which in turn impacts them positively.

Why do I say it has be Scientifically proven?

Ours masters have to go one step further to establish the benefits of each of these courses scientifically with datas would enable the value provided by the courses in terms of documented proof.  We like it or not Science expects that a documented proof or data backed proof or sampling based on proofs or clinical trials as a mechanism or method to prove that a certain kind of medicine impacts or cures the patient.

The Art of Living program is designed to be stress free to start with, then to go in silence and if we dedicate ourselves we may discover ourself.

I am just going to outline one Program that's the starters program in AOL that aims at removing stress from our body and mind. 

Now, how do we prove this?  Apart from experienced based story sharing or story telling.  The stories can be captured in Videos uploaded in AOL website or to youtube, social media platforms and so on.  However, the most important aspect from my point of view would be that we need to use medical equipment that takes a snapshot of our Stressful condition (mind or brain).  

How could this be achieved?

A simple Medical modality or equipment that monitors the number of neurons generated or brain signals sent in a shorter duration, the current pattern of signals sent, the signal source (left brain or right brain) before the course and after the course, the pattern of signals before and after the course do they match any live example that indicates disturbed mind (agitated water) with a calm mind(still water), the number of signals, the strengths of the signals, the tone of speech, the ability to reply or respond and so on. 

How to achieve this?

If medical equipment is not present we would have to invent it.  The Medical equipment should be used on the attendees before the course to 7 to 14 samples on a daily basis preferably after the work schedule or early morning just befofre and after the courses.  This instrument would then measure the above details particularly the brain cells, neurons, their path, their strength, their count, their conflicts, and so on.  This measurement could be a set of data for analysis, a live video, a snapshot frame or images of the brain, neurons that can be replayed as animation.

If we study the above results or samples we would be able to prove or establish the mind or bring in stressful condition and in rest or calm condition.  That means how the Happiness program or Sudarshan Kriya of AOL brings that positive change.  The impact of practicing this Sudarshan Kriya (breathing pattern) regularly and the change in the brain pattern or neurons.

Similarly, the advanced course can also be studied from the perspective it's main objective which is to bring the body, mind, soul in harmony (Silence).  

How can this be proved?  This could be a million dollar baby question or idea or puzzle to be solved.

A Governance Model and a Correlation with Master-Slave Software Architectural Pattern for Faster, effective and efficiency in Policy enforcement.

Master Thread and Worker Thread Parallelization of Work (Tasks)


The Master and Slave Software Architectural Pattern would be ideal choice for solving problems related to distribution of work or tasks that are almost similar in nature (Uniform Interface) or requires similar expertise and have to be executed in parallel for achieving faster results.  

The Master and Slave Architectural Patterns implementation shall or might consider the following parameters the commonality of the Tasks or WBS or Work (Uniform Interface or Uniform Interface Hierarchy) and the availability of the workforce who could handle such Tasks themselves independently.  The Slaves after successfully completing their work might call on the CallBack interface of the Master to handle the result.  The Master would then add the result to the result queue and might perform a temporary processing of results in the queue (so far accumulated) by invoking a method probably, ProcessResultQueue in a different thread to ensure the Master Thread is effective and efficient in processing results with out any delay.  The Master thread could also interrupt a worker thread due a long delay and might stop a worker for similar reason, reallocate that task again to another worker in the pool.  The Master thread may also track the number of worker threads involved in a Job and whether all of them have responded on time (almost similar time period), if not  then check if a thread that didn't respond in time is active or thread is killed or crashed due to some reason.  The audit trail logs of each worker thread can be analyzed for understanding of the steps involved or completed and what probably could have gone wrong with a given thread non each completion of the it's assigned task.   Now, depending actual problem definition, domain, constraints, context and the Masters Responsibility and Workers Responsibility would vary or would be implemented accordingly.

Now, let's consider the following problem definition and how we could use Master(Expert,Senior,Boss,Leader...) and Slave (Worker, Reportee, Executive,Junior, Lead...)  Architectural pattern to Solve a problem of Work Load.  


A Government Administration involves lot of time consuming policy drafting, creating, refining or revisions, tabling with council of ministers, or in Parliament, approved in Parliament, notified in the Gazette and so on.  These are some of the major steps involved in creating a policy.  Each policy obviously has a problem definition, context, situation, events that influenced the need for the policy.  Also, the implementation of the policy as has major steps or executives involved in producing a effective and efficient Governance. I am not a Government Administrator my self to outline the steps involved in precise but however have tried to understand the possible steps that could be involved.   In this scenario can we take advantage of a Pattern like Master-Slave Software Architectural Pattern for a better, effective, efficient, faster, reliable, guaranteed results of the policy well with in a time frame.  For (e.g) A Policy should be drafted with in 3 months, should be approved and notified with in 3 months from it is ready.  And Policy of certain kinds should be implemented efficiently with in a Year on the Ground that ensures a Positive Governance.   This is the overall Problem statement.


The Solution to the above problem could be to use Parallelization of Policy Drafting where in the Chief or the Commissioner is the Master and the experts from same domain or from different domains work with the master in completion of the draft.  Now, the Software Solution obviously would use a Master-Slave Architectural Pattern to Solve to parallelized the tasks involved.  However, the Policy Governance Software Platform could actually use various other architectural patterns to solve the broader dimension of the problems.  The Masters Responsibility would be create the tasks add it to the pool and identify or assign the workers to it along with expected TAT.  The Master would then realign the tasks as per the overall timelines, expertise of the slaves, take a pie of the work load on himself, a reserved time period for consolidation, internal and next level review before the job can be considered completed.  A Similarly, workflow in the application would then be able to capture the steps, the audit trails, the details of the Roles involved, their contributions, the overall steps, broken down views, hierarchical views, parallel views, time line views, time consumed views and  so on shall enable a possibility for Statistical Analysis, improvisation of the algorithm used in the software etc.  The same approach can be used to ensure the policy is effectively and efficiently enforced across the administrative region.  A State Government would like to Monitor it by Districts and Villages where as a Republic or Federal Government would only be interested in getting the details of the effective from each of the States.  


Such a Platform shall ensure the independence of the State Governments function with in it's administrative boundary and also the automatic audit trails, data collection with in platform village wise, town, municipal, city, district would be a great advantage for the respective statement governments.  A consolidated State Government wise audit trails and data would be sufficient for the Republic or Federal Government to understand the effectiveness or efficiency of a policy or law or act or amendments and it's effectiveness on the ground.  


Would our State Governments insists on such a model and would our Republic Government would understand the need for such a Policy Governance Model and it's results.

Now In News Channels, Facebook Posts, Youtubes and other media platforms we get to view videos of cranes crumbling, collapsing, falling over, capsizing, and so on.. 

This might be due to the fact they are be used beyond their known capacity handling, their agility, their flexibility, their sturdiness and so on.

In order to ensure that the Cranes(very expensive machine) their not used beyond their tested abilities and capabilities is to ensure that each of these Cranes machines are embedded with a Mother Board, Embedded Domain OS and connected to a Logical Domian OS to ensure that the functions are restricted or limited to it's defined abilities or capabilities by the sensors, embedded platform (Software-Hardware-Electro-Mechanical) are working together to ensure the safety of the machine, cleanliness of the machine, it's arms, it's wings, it's legs, it's mechanical component varnished, rust or wear or tear in it's arms or wings or legs are replaced or repaired (retested or calibrated for their efficiency or for it's abilities or capabilities).  

This could enable the CRANES to be completely modular which allows for frequent replacement of worn parts.  The CRANES would then come with a Cockpit that enables and ensures the CRANES are used for it's abilities, ensures that CRANES themselves are very safe in it's operation.

The Safety of the CRANES would be handled by the on-board Domain OS Hardware-Software Platform.  The Domain OS Platform would then also be interfaced with a logical General OS or Logical Domain OS to capture the various parameters under which the CRANES are being operated, their efficiency, their load handling smoothness, their stability and so on.   The on board intelligence via sensors and software's shall ensure no eventuality (100% safety of the crews and the CRANE).  
That would enable for Data Analytics to arrive at a Statistical model of it's life time usage details and it's benefits to the customers.  This also would help in understanding the terrains in which it was used was any parameter or constraints that needs to be considered in the future designs of CRANES and  so on..

The Future of Personal Transport could be HeliTaxi, HeliCar, HeliBikes and so on.  This would mean the Helipads would be in demand, there would demarcated landing of such vehicles on Static marked areas or on highways when the traffic is in full flow.  Such transports could be the future given the constraints, traffic, chaos of road, rail transport.  The Air Traffic would probably increase and people might rent a Air Taxi and fly for business meeting by driving themselves or when they go on a Cruise or Vacation.  This would mean Air Vehicles Rental Models would be a business in the future.  Such transports could be personal, private, family oriented, or tour oriented, commercial, Goods Transport and so on.   The businesses could use them to ensure that they hire or privately transport their employees together for a Project Work or Commissioning work.  In this such vehicles would be scheduled based on demand or need of the customer.  The customers could book a complete vehicle and the capacity of each such vehicle may not match the traditional bikes, car or Taxi strengths but would be of higher for viability of such transports.  They could be operated as gliders using Sun light, batteries, and on fossil fuels..  We already see YouTube videos of flying buses,..  


What would this mean?  

This would probably impact the existing Cars, Bikes etc.  However, they might quickly venture into these business by buying shares or becoming investors.  


Such Scenario would be a completely technology oriented and the Air Traffic Controllers and Auto Pilot would be predominantly used by these Vehicles to prevent accidents and to reduce risks.

Is it time to create a portal application along with a mobile app, cloud store, that enables the individuals, non individuals, to automatically capture posts related to their Education, Profesional life, Personal life events, tours, their interaction with service Providers, Government organization, companies (in house Employee service) and so on? 

The  Portal could offer services that ensures only single platform through all your Social Media Timeline Entries or handled by our engine or portal that takes care of, tagging, multilingual tagging, labelling, share to all configured social media platform or handles.  The Social Media platform covered would be range to become language neutral,..  The ideas is to provide a personalized service to the clients based on their profession, their life line time line, their known languages, their interest, their current context,  and so on. 

The clients schools who provide these service's details and register on our portal with their profile, Identity like CIN, TIN or PAN, GST, TAN, address, Phone number, availability, date of birth, family details, and so on. 

The portal would be intelligent to automatically suggest posts, posts life line events, and reduce the burden, time b spent on the Social Media but be a enabler to the Clients and add value. 

So on and so forth.

Open Printer Drivers - SDK Specification like J2EE Framework to enable Single or Installation of Driver in the End User System irrespective of Vendors. (Vendor Neutral Printer Drivers)

Context

HP Ink Advantage e3545 All in one Printer (Printer, Scan, Xerox) functions are provided by this printer.

We decided to upgrade the Printer or replace this with another printer in our Canon PIXMA G3000 that is also an All in one Printer (Printer, Scan, Xerox) features provided by this printer.

Situation and Reason for this Upgrade, was the need to buy and replace cartridges often requiring us to buy the HP branded cartridges (Color and Black) HP 768.

The Design of HP e3545 was that the Printers Cartridges included the ink supply with in cartridge.  However the Cartridge or the ribbon are capable for longer shelf life and probably required a ink refill.  That would mean the modularity of the Printer Cartridge had to be altered to segregate the cartridge function and provide an external ink tank.  I wasn't aware of the design nor explored heavily on the options available but my intent was to buy a printer at a reasonable capital price limit of Rs. 5,000.  This printer at that point I decided that HP 3545 All in one Printer would be valuable.

Now, the new printer has exactly solved this limitation with a provision of ink tanks (Black, Cyan, Yellow and Magnetta).  For a home user this might be good enough, however the CANON official refills cost Rs. 2,500 that includes 4 bottles of ink).

Now, in my home I use 4 laptops, 4 mobiles and other devices that might require me to connect and use the Printer when it is initialized and set up.

The possibilities of connecting to the printers are 
USB
Wired Network
Wireless Network - One to One Connection
Wireless Network - Printer detected and connected via a Wifi router

This means that the last options is very good option from the perspective of connecting one or more devices to the Printer just via a WIFI router where in the Printers is configured or paired once with the WIFI Router.

This apart the end users like me would have mandatorily install the Printer Make and Model Specific Driver for the Print Function or Scan Function to be accessible through each of our devices that would interact with the printer.  In my case 4 laptops and 4 smart phones.

Now, the ease of use or to reduce the need to manually or automatically install the printers driver when it was first detected and added to the respective OS Control Panels. 

This would mean the respective OS may include the drivers pack or fetch it online or we may have to install from the CD or Cloud Space or from USB drive.

This requires a good amount of disk space and also similar need every different types of devices we use.

Now, I was thinking of the following possibilities and how they could help the end users.

Open Printer Driver Specification - OPDS

This would mean the End user would just requires a Base installation of Open Base Printer  (All In One Driver) Pack that is based on the Open Printer(all in one) Drivers Specifications to their respective devices like laptop or smart phone connectivity.  This specification could be be thought to be in parallel or similar J2EE Specification.

What would this mean ?

All Operating Systems Solution Providers then could realize the Open Printer (all in one) Drivers Specification and provide a Open Base Printer Drive Pack in the OS by default,  this would enable most of the functions to be abstracted in the base driver pack and it's vendor neutral.  The Vendors of Printers could form a Standards Body and define the specification based on which the Operating Systems Solution Providers would provide Open Base Printer Driver Pack.   The end user can plug in any number of printer of any make or model and easily interact with the Printer or the All in one Device with out bothering to install any Software in their System.  

However, each vendors might not agree to include every function of theirs into the specification due to intellectual property conflict or due to business reasons to not disclose certain features.  But, all printers manufacturers the same function and hence they should be able agree on 30%-90% of the common functionalities found in any of the Printer or All in one devices that needs to be abstracted in the Open Printer Driver Specifications.  This might help in reducing their Operational Cost and however might be a challenge in managing Intellectual property rights.

The advantage from the end user perspective is that plug and play any printer with no extra installation.  Also, the user could buy different Make and Model of Printers in their life time due to their likes or dislikes.  This flexibility is probably worth exploring.

A similar approach for all other devices can be thought off.

Router Upgrade-ability - Feature or Future Compatibility

I had to upgrade my TP Link Router provided by the ISP (Cherrinet) for home internet connection.  The router by default that is given to the customer was "TP LINK TL-WR480N 300 MBPS Wifi Router" which works in a frequency 2.4 GHZ.  The Amazon Fire Stick TV service subscription of mine was upgraded and then mandated for a upgrade in the router capabilities to use 5 GHZ frequency router. 

Therefore I decided to buy a new router online from Amazon.in namely, "TP LINK MODEL ARCHER C80 AC1900 MU-MIMO WI FI Router" that is dual mode frequency router that provides or works in 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHZ for backward compatibility.

The new router had to be configured with the "Cherrinet ISP" gateway details and credentials for the continuity of Service.  So, was trying to take advantage of the feature Export and Import or Backup and Restore options for easy initializing and configuration of the new router.  However, to my surprise the firmware's probably upgraded their Backup and Restore features with out consider the backward compatibility aspect.  The configuration file the conf.bin file backed up from the existing router and imported or uploaded to the new router didn't work probably due to non-compatibility of the conf.bin file with future versions or the new algorithms to read conf.bin file wasn't able to read or restore a previous version conf.bin file.   A point and a note to remember is that the products are from the Same Vendor.   Therefore, the vendors should work on defining a Schema, it's Versions, imports or instances across future versions (Future Compatibility) across vendors would also be great for the customer.  This helps healthy competition and innovation their products, their product offerings and the migrate-ability aspect of routers across vendors.  The only point of concern for upgrade-ability could then be the MACID of the router changes and the ISP may not recognize or reject the Service.  The New Router should be able to ping the configuration details via the Network Protocol to the ISP with the details of the credentials by providing the new router MacID to be mapped with the user credentials automatically would give a ease of use and a great experience or convenience to the user.

Hope the Vendors would look into this aspect or feature. 







Call Center that enables Sharing of Load between Providers - Does a Similar Path Breaking Concept is required for Delivery or Logistics



call centre (British and Commonwealth spelling) or call center (US spellingsee spelling differences) is a centralised office used for receiving or transmitting a large volume of enquiries by telephone. An inbound call centre is operated by a company to administer incoming product or service support or information enquiries from consumers. Outbound call centres are operated for telemarketing, for solicitation of charitable or political donationsdebt collectionmarket research, emergency notifications, and urgent/critical needs blood banks. A contact centre, further extension to call centres administers centralised handling of individual communications, including lettersfaxeslive support softwaresocial mediainstant message, and e-mail.[1] 

The Call Centers that are operational are operated as Solution Providers who either cater to Single Vendor Service or as Multi Vendor Service.

Is it time to adopt a Similar Strategy in Business to Handle Door Delivery of Products, Produces, Goods or Services?

What would this mean?  

The Business units or various businesses would outsource their "Delivery Channel" to a Solution Provider (can be called as Delivery Centers) who would then either be a Single Vendor Service or Multi Vendor Service.  This would mean that many of the existing Large Capex Business Entities and Small Capex Business Entities would able to use Single Solution Platform (SDK, Framework or Solution) that integrates with existing Order and Invoice Management Systems with Logistics Delivery Chain Platform (LDCP).  This LDCP would be able to interface with all the external partners Platform via their APIs for Audit Logs and complete the Delivery Service details in their (internal) Systems records or in a Neutral Platform or in Partners System records.

This would mean the Delivery of Service, Goods, Produces and Products and the associate Challenges along with it is handle Exclusive in a Single Cross Vendor Platform or a Neutral Platform that is addressed by various sets of well define algorithms.
